In 1984, the air Force declared in an enlisted  but Woodrick refused an order to report for two years Active duty. Police arrested him in March 1985 at his Nashville tenn., Home and look him to Lackland where he was charged with desertion. In june 19ss, a Federal judge in san Antonio granted Woodrick s request that the military no longer had Juris diction in the matter but in october the 5th . Circuit court of appeals overturned the judge s ruling. Woodrick returned to Lackland voluntarily in 19 86 to face the charges. Woodrick said he plans to return to Nashville and wants to pursue a  Ter s degree in business
