Split each Chicken breast Lengthwise in half. Cut away and discard any thin membranes that May remain on the flesh. Rinse the mushrooms Drain and Pat dry. Season the flour Wilh Salt and Pepper and dredge the Chicken breast halves in the mixture shake Oft excess flour. Heat the Oil in a heavy Skillet and Cook the Chicken breasts unfit nicely browned an one Side about 3 minutes Over moderately High heat. Add the garlic cloves turn the Chicken pieces and scatter the mushrooms Over All continue cooking shaking the Skillet and redistributing the mushrooms so that they Cook evenly. Cook about 3 minutes and add the Balsamic vinegar and Broth. Add Iho Bay Leaf and Thyma. Cover closely and Cook Over moderately Low heat 10 minutes turn the pieces occasional As they Cook. Transfer the pieces to a warm serving Platter end cover Wilh foil. Let she sauce Wilh the mushrooms Cook uncovered Over moderately High heat Aboul 7 minutes swirl in the butter remove and discard the Bay Seal. Pour the mushrooms in sauce Over the Chicken and serve yield 4 Servings Macaroni with cheese 1vi cups uncooked Elbow Macaroni Salt to taste if desired 1 cup milk i cup heavy Cream i Teaspoon freshly grated Nutmeg y cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese measure out the Macaroni and set aside. Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil and add Salt and Macaroni. Stir frequently and Cook until tender about 12 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Return the Macaroni to the Kettle and add the milk Cream and Nutmeg bring to a boil and Cook about 4 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed pour the Macaroni into a Tot baking dish. Meanwhile preheat the broiler to High. Sprinkle the top of the Macaroni evenly Wilh cheese. Place the dish under the broiler and Broil until the top is lightly browned. Yield 4 Servings.
