Accompanied and unaccompanied hours along tour areas Are then considered say for example thai two people wanted the Sam assignment and both had extended overseas for 12 months but one was on an unaccompanied Short Lour and the other was on an accompanied Long Lour the official said. The first one would have priority for  the program does not guarantee thai service Mem ers will get the assignment of their Choice the official said. The needs of the air Force come first he said. Requirement for that person has to exist at the preferred base. Bui this program does increase their chances of getting the assignment they  service members serving an in place consecutive overseas Lour Don t qualify since they received leave travel entitlements Between ours and Are required to serve the full second tour. Bui those who finish the consecutive overseas tour and then extend on that tour become eligible for the higher priority the official said. Only enlisted personnel with a return Date of octo Ber 1987 or later will be considered for the program the official said
