We ordered up a couple Paulaner Beers for starters then settled on the Chow filet of sole for jumbo Cream of Snail soup followed by one of these baked Cal then Lypp thing for me. For folks whose tastes run in different directions i got to say right Here that the Salvator stems ready to Grant just about any wish Willi everything from seafood to schnitzel to Noodle dishes plus poultry and beef and such things As their top of the line Steak cafe do Paris and the Salvator Teller which features More Grill  the front end of a 49 Quick. They also run daily specials and every once in a while a week or More of weird Chow like mexican food or som Ching and this is the lunch menu the waiter told us. The place offers up a  variety Al night. My soup showed first being a Heady Little boat of Broth with plenty of Cream and a half dozen or so whole snails kind of lolling around in the Bol Tom of the bowl. Tasty especially when downed with a Glass of the House red a fruity Young Beaujolais thai comes drier than d British joke. Main courses jumbo s sole showed up first it being a Mammoth filet breaded and served with a Mountain of German potato salad a Bunch of assorted greens and a dipper full of tartar sauce. My buddy fell on in like Piranha on ground Chuck. Cooked Well. Jumbo later noted nol at All soggy Anil without the old problem lie grease Factor. The potato salad was Fine bul even jumbo could t polish in off. My Chicken also proved to be top drawer arriving As a Bulter Lii d breast mutinied Wilh huge chunks of roquefort and fresh peaches then the works covered Wilh gruyere and thrown in the oven for a while. On ii Side potato crop ultes and a bowl of mixed greens the salad featuring More pickled items than the Betty Tord Center. We followed things up Wilh a couple of coffees the place serves a powerfully polent espresso and finally a Small Brandy before gelling around to asking for the Bill. The Salvator had been kind of empty when we arrived but by the Lime we Gol the waiter s attention the place was raking in More Cash than a freshman cornerback at sum. The clientele seemed to be business executives mostly although there was a Large party of what i took to be Bank tellers in one Corner. Later Riding Back in the Toad and watching jumbo s face begin dancing around again i Hud Lime to work out a rating. Right off the Bat Zum Salvator features solid no nonsense Chow at fairly reasonable prices. Service is Friendly and fast even when the place gels crowded. Hell our waiter had More moves than halftime Al the Hula bowl. Zum Salvator is located Al number 4 Gross  in Mainz right off the City s walking zone about four blocks from the River.
