The program will include night fishing prize fishing for individuals and teams and Fisherman s jousting. The latter event is for those who need a Little variety in their activity. The jousting is done in rowboats and is a com plete diversion from fishing and just about every thing else. You must see it to believe it. And Schafflhuber says they need american competitors. The fishing knights have soft tipped Lan Ces padded with thick foam rubber. The competitors pair off against each other while standing in separate rowboats. As boats come together a ouster tries to push the opponent in the water. It s All fun and generally harmless but the knights should be Able to swim. The fest kicks off at 7 . On july 22 with Good German and some night fishing Competition a warm up for the weekend. The Small Lake at is a great place for family fishing because it s easy to catch Trout there. The 1988 Bass masters classic the would championship of Bass fishing will be held on the historic James River near the City of Richmond va., August 25-27. During this classic event the top 35 professionals from the Bas master tournament Trail and the top five amateurs from the Bass anglers sportsman society chapters will strive to outsmart each other and the James River s Black Bass. The pros qualify for the classic through a series of invitational tournaments held throughout the nation from september through May. The 35 anglers with the most accumulated pounds of Bass weighed Are invited to compete in the classic. The five amateurs qualify through the Bass federation Competition. Payout for the Bass masters classic will be $125,000, with the resulting world Champion receiving $50,000. Local Roundup the three races Are run simultaneously through the City of Fulda and the foot Hills of the Rhoen Region. This will be the Lith year for the Cavarly run and 10th for the other two.
