The Agency said another seven airlines turned in their com Muter licenses As the inspections began. Agency officials speaking at congressional hearing Currier this week and in interviews thursday also said the inspections produced nearly a dozen cases of re cords being falsified and problems with  operations. The officials told a House investigations sub com i Ilsc on wednesday that As Many As 200 enforce ment actions May come out of the inspections of 35 airlines. A full report on the inspections is scheduled to be completed by december. The probes were prompted by a spat of commute aircraft accidents in which 56 people were killed Dur ing a four month period in late 1987 and Early 1988. Commuter airlines which normally Fly aircraft of 30scuts or fewer have taken on an increasingly important role in air travel Sinee Many of the larger airlines no longer Fly into Small communities. The special inspections by the Federal aviation administration were announced last March and covered about 20 percent of the commuter airline Industry which last year carried More than 31 million Passen Gers. According to the Agency of the 35 commuter carriers inspected one airline air new Orleans has voluntarily surrendered its operating License and an other which was not identified May be forced to shut Down. The Faa said seven other airlines voluntarily turned in their operating certificates As commuter carriers before an Faa inspection of their operations could get under Way although one of them denied the report.
