David j. Kitchin in 18, has been in scouting for 10 years and has earned 23 Merit badges. For his Eagle scout award he con ducted a drug drive in the Frankfurt Mil itary Community. Kitchin and other volunteers set up a collection Center at the local shopping area for outdated prescription and non prescription drugs. The drugs were Given to the pharmacist at the Frankfurt  regional medical enter for disposal. Kitchin has held several leadership positions during his scouting career including patrol Leader assistant senior patrol Leader and Den chief. Kaiserslautern West Germany a former student at Kaiserslautern High school received his Eagle scout award the highest award for boy scouts in a recent ceremony. Steven p. Davis 18, has been in scouting for seven years. For his Eagle scout project he conducted bicycle safety rodeos at Vogel Weh and Ramstein elementary schools with help from other scout volunteers. More than 150 participants attended the rodeos which consisted of a bicycle inspection station a skills course and a safety briefing about Riding bikes in Europe. Davis who graduated in 1988, is a freshman at University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he is a pre Law major. He is the son of chief warrant officer 3 John and Stephanie Davis. To earn the Eagle scout award a boy scout must fulfil requirements in the areas of leadership service and outdoor skills.
