He came Back out again trying to throw the knife at the officer and that s when they shot  officer Frank Fernandez a four year Veteran was Only a few feet from Rodriguez when he fired his service pistol directly into his Chest. Rodriguez fell roiling Down the porch. He was rushed to Jackson memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was shot through the heart in the Aorta Hospital spokeswoman Ann Prosper said. In the Northeast As a whole the median Price for the second Quarter was $145,900, the highest of All four regions the realtors said. In Springfield mass., the median Price of $126,700 was 19.8 percent higher than one year ago. In the metro area of Albany Schenectady Troy n.y., the me Dian Price of $ 104,200 Rose 14.4 percent. In the Midwest a Region with less expensive hous ing the median Price was $70,900 for the second Quarter rising 2.8 percent from the second Quarter of1988. In the Midwest the leading Home appreciation was Toledo Ohio where the median Price of $72,500 Rose 21.4 percent. Other areas posting Strong Price increases included Cincinnati where the median Price of $78,900 Rose 13.4 percent and grand rapids where the median Price of $64,800 Rose 11.1 percent. The South a geographic mixed bag stretching from Delaware to Texas posted a second Quarter Price of $84,700, which Rose 2 percent from one year earlier. Price increases recorded in several of the Southwest pm markets of that Region indicate that some Oil be pendent areas Are overcoming economic depression Tuccillo said. In Houston the median Price of $68,700 Rose 8.2 percent from the second Quarter of 1988. In fort Worth Arlington Texas the median Price of $77,200 Rose 9.2 percent. Mobile ala., recorded a median Price of $55,400, which was 11.5 percent higher. The Florida metropolitan area of Tampa St. Peters  posted a Price of $78,900,  an increase of 20.5 percent the strongest in the Region. In Washington d.c., the highest priced Market of the South the Picc Rose 6.6 percent according to the Survey. Tuccillo said the West continued to be split by High priced markets on the West coast and less expensive ones in the Interior of the Region. The West s median Price for the second Quarter was $139,700, rising 18.7 percent from the second Quarter of 1988.compared to Honolulu and several of the California coastal cities the median Price in Albuquerque n.m.,was $84.500.
