It was not designed nor is it equipped to handle such High volume traffic and Long term parking. It was impossible to enforce parking discipline. Drivers parked everywhere and anywhere blocking each other and creating a Hazard. A number of vehicles were abandoned. Others were surrounded and could not be removed. The area was susceptible to damage theft and vandalism result inn i claims against the government. In an Effort to fix this problem Rhein main initiated a program on july is designed to provide organized parking for Mac terminal patrons and enforce parking discipline across the base.
