Then you come Back and play the same team in your next game. It s Tough to beat the same team twice in the same season not to a Central mention doing it in two straight games. Sims opened the scoring in the second Quarter snagging Marcus Collins 47 Yard to pass. The bucs led 8-0 after Chris Cummins two Point conversion. Ratio Buchanan added six on a 4-Yard to carry and Cummins conversion run closed out the bucs scoring. Augsburg evaded the shutout in the second Quarter when Steve Melito s 4 Yard to run gave the apaches six. Sims 109 Yards on 17 carries led All Ball carriers but Jenkins 100 Yards on eight carries was t far behind. Pat Glen gained 19 Yards on four car Ries to Lead Apache rushers. Augsburg dropped its record to 0-2 with the loss while the bucs picked up their first Triumph of the season Baum Holder now stands at 1 -2. Munich 28, Ansbach 20 Munich West Germany Junior Dean scored two touchdowns rushed for160 Yards and snared two key interceptions to Lead Munich s upset Ansbach was 2-0 and Munich 1-1 going into this a South opener. Both teams Are now 2-1. Munich led 7-0 in the first on Dean s 12-Yard run and Andy Cardon s extra Point. Dean struck again with a 5-Yard to run for a 13-0 Munich margin. Reardon scored on a 1-Yard Quarter Back sneak then kicked the Pat to give the Mustangs a 20-0 Edge. The Mustang defense kept Ansbach tailback Willie Luke bottled up in the Backfield for most of the first half. The cougars broke through just before intermission when Steve Roberts hit Danny Mahorn with a 17-Yard to pass. Roberts went Back to Mahorn for the two Point conversion to get Ansbach within 20-8. Luke broke Loose for a 50-Yard touch Down dash soon after the second half Kickoff to Cut Munich s Lead to 20-14. Munich took the ensuing Kickoff 75 Yards in six plays to Clinch it. Dean s 9-Yard to burst climaxed the drive. Rear Don sneaked for the conversion giving the Mustangs a 28-14 Lead. Munich s defense look Over from there by not allowing the cougars to get any Long drives going. Ansbach s Roberts threw a 4-Yard scoring pass to . Bruce with four min utes left to end the scoring. Dean made one of his two interceptions with 2 30 left to Stop Ansbach s last drive. Dean gained 160 Yards on 20 carries for Munich. The Mustangs amassed 289 Yard Rushing and 21 passing. Ansbach had 198 total Yards 157 on the ground. Luke picked up 99 Yards on 14 carries. Roberts was 4-for-l9 for 41 Yards two touchdowns and two interceptions. Scott rope Munich s Middle guard had five Solo tackles eight assists and a Fumble recovery. Linebacker Pete lob and cornerback Jurgen Ramile each notched eight solos and two assists.
