Last summer i had a Complete physical checkup by my family doctor he said my prostate was slightly enlarged but that was Normal for a Man my age. No lumps were found. Two months later i went to a urologist for a routine Check just to make sure. He found a growth on the prostate. A Biopsy proved it to be malignant. Subsequent tests indicated that the cancer had gone beyond the prostate which was a Shock to me since there had been no symptoms other than a slight slowdown in urination. My urologist tells me it is imperative that All men 40 and Over have their prostate checked yearly and men Over 50 should be checked every six months. To be on the Safe Side this Check should be done by a urologist.
