Alvin  pen pals meet again its just one big Happy party the Day was bursting with activity fun and laughter. But that a to be expected when 200 sixth Grade pen pals hit the scene. Such was the Case recently when 100 German and 100 american elementary students gathered at the a Schattenburg elementary school before they scattered All Over the Community to be entertained. It was part of a Daylong partner school Exchange project in which German students from the Martin Buber Schule in Gross Gerau West Germany reacquainted themselves with the pen pals they met last year when a Schattenburg visited the Gros Gerau school. Some modelled Young fashions from cafes while others examined an m2a2 Bradley fighting vehicle. Some took a ride in the 4th in 7th info world War in Era Hal track others baked chocolate Chip cookies. Some saw military equipment and watched soldiers demonstrate How it is used and some played softball. They even took dancing lessons from a Soldier. The Martin Buber school was selected because student profiles matched. Both student bodies Are Middle income and have diverse backgrounds. Students write to their pen pals in English about once a month
