Combined they re 24 years old. Ericka Moore ii has donated 254 hours of her spare time Over the past year to Baum older a army Community services. She said she a makes Welcome packets and tries to  Becky Willis the Volunteer coordinator for Baum older added that Ericka docs More than she takes credit for. Willis said Ericka also works with the Community services food locker and is responsible for reorganizing the shelves making it easier to find items. The 14-year-old Eagle scout will represent the department of defense dependents schools system at the National geography Bee on May 2324 in Washington. Trebek will moderate the Bee. He took a written and an Oral test at his Alconbury school then was pitted against All Dodds Atlantic school winners in a written test for the regional title. Top honors in Dodds worldwide written tests earned him the trip to Washington. While Chris is modest about his accomplishments his social studies teacher for the past six months jumps at the Chance to Praise the students abilities. A i probably did t teach him anything. Chris who is one of 57 finalists thinks he has a was Good a Chance As anyone else to win one of three big scholarships Worth $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000. Should he win the avid Reader of fiction and military history plans to use the Money to attend notre Dame University to get a degree in nuclear physics or nuclear engineering. Then he would like to join the Navy or the coast guard. The National geographic society developed the contest in response to a growing concern about the Lack of geographic knowledge among Young americans. The bees Are open to fourth through eighth graders. Finalists include representatives from each state the District of Columbia Dodds and five . Territories. Also named was David j. Kent of Pusan High school in South Korea. About 141 students will be selected by the White House commission on presidential scholars and will be invited to Washington for a White House ceremony in june. The program is the highest Federal Honor bestowed on graduating High school seniors. It is in its 26th year. Stuttgart senior receives National leadership award
