My problem is How do i get time alone with my husband a a Mel and i were married last year and  Mother will not leave us alone. I should have seen the signs when she invited herself along on our honeymoon. We live in her duplex. She is downstairs since i work my Mother in Law fixes supper for us and we eat together every night. When we entertain she invites herself. I feel trapped. No one knows the hardships As they do after numerous permanent change of station pcs moves temporary duties toys deployments and such. Anyone who is married to a military member can attest to that. We Are grateful for All they sacrifice. But i truly believe we owe a Heartfelt thanks to those people who Combine those difficult tasks with military duty a the military spouse. In my seven years in the . Air Force not once have i Ever read an article on the difficulties of two married military members. Yet i know Many of these couples who struggle every Day against almost impossible Odds and the win. Key so Many of them have children and it is a constant Battle to find adequate Day care in times of deployment temporary duty and shift work. My heart goes put to these people because i know what they face and it is anything but easy. A they sacrifice a great Deal and often face conflicting work hours with their spouses. Yet they still find time to be at Home with their families and their spouses whenever humanly possible. In these times of hardship when our income can to always support a family they do what they have to do to survive. And yet they manage to make it work beautifully. To those people with the special task of combining a military career with their spouses military career As Well As a marriage and family my hat is off to you.
