The mexican race put an entirely new complexion on the 1990 run for title elevating the defending world Champion Prost squarely Back into the picture. Had Senna won in Mexico it would have been the Start of a championship runaway. Instead Prost now trails the brazilian by Only eight Points and we have the ingredients for a hard Campaign Here in Europe with eight grand prix rounds on tap. The mexican race could prove a turning Point especially if the Ferrari team can continue with the reliability their cars displayed last sunday when Prost was followed Home by his British teammate Nigel Mansell. It was the first Ferrari 1-2 sweep since the italian grand prix of sept. 11,1988. But tires were starting to prove a problem and he was forced to slow his Pace. I called the pits on the radio but they did not hear me the first time so i did one More Lap and called again. But i was told to stay out. I was very cautious because i knew that i could eventually close on Senna and pass  and that a what happened.
