We Felt As if the Mountain kind Gorn was ours alone. Tschie Rva hut Switzerland Pon Tresina a picturesque town just a few Miles from one of Switzerland s most famous resorts St. Mont was our starting Point for this hike in Eastern Switzerland. The morning walk was just that a pleasant stroll following the Rose River up a Valley. A horse drawn Wagon passed us. Its passengers were on their Way to the hotel Rose our overnight destination. This Mountain hotel is High class. In addition to a cafeteria it has a dining room with an outdoor Terrace and a dessert Buffet that would put an end to anyone s diet. There Are private rooms with common Bath and toilet facilities. We left our gear in the room and moved on to real hiking a two hour trek to the Tschie Rva hut 2,573 meters just on the Edge of a vast Glacier whose Snow and ice looked As if they d been beat up by a mixer on High Speed. Day hikers and serious climbers gathered on the hut Terrace to Admire it All and rest in the warm afternoon Sunshine. An american couple from Lake Tahoe was especially impressed with the scenery. It was still Light when we finished dinner so we got our jackets it cools Oft quickly in the evenings in the mountains and took a leisurely walk up the Valley. Latter Are Cuie furry critters  look like giant chipmunks. Both Are supposed to appear in the Early morning and at dusk. We looked hut saw neither our next Day s hike took us Over the mountains to St. Moritz. To climbed up above the 1 Fotel Rose past a tiny Mountain farm and Fields of cows with jingling Bells around their Nocks icon on around a horse who stood stubbornly in the Trail refusing to move. The higher we got the bettor the View. We Lould look across the Valley to the Tschie Rva 1 hit and  Ier where we had been the Day before. Wild Flowers were in abundance a in a profusion of t Solors that even Crayola could t copy. The High Point was i Gorda sutlej 2,755 meters with a Mountain nut restaurant pen Hod just above one of those mini Mountain lakes whose Milky Aqua coloured Waters Glimmer and Glisten in the Sun. From the hut Terrace the Panorama of the Lake with glaciers and mountains behind was Perfet Tion. After , the rest seemed mundane la was a Long King Way Down to St. Mont.
