Dennis Demasters had a Chest wound and Braddish who had shrapnel through both thighs. Braddish returned to the burning track to pull out a wounded Crew mate pfc. Adrian Stokes Barker said. Mcclure who was driving the vehicle at the time of the attack grabbed a radio and flare gun from the burning vehicle before jumping out. In his usual Calm Demeanour the uninjured Mcclure found Braddish gave him the radio and flares and told him to shoot them and Call for help. Mcclure then went about tending to Goodwin and Stokes. A Bradley from another platoon reported that enemy foot soldiers were moving toward the disabled vehicle barkers Crew scattered them by firing High explosive rounds. The platoon set up what Security it could and Demasters Bradley moved up to help evacuate the wounded. Still inside 2-6 was the commander sgt. Christopher Stephans who was gravely wounded and trapped inside the Turret. A we  do much for him a Demasters said. Stephans died of massive head wounds and injuries to the lower body. Goodwin is recovering. Mcqurne was in the first group of Vii corps soldiers to return to Germany after the War. Braddish is recovering at the Walter Reed army medical Center in Washington.  addition to his leg injuries Braddish lost the tips of two fingers and his right thumb.
