Pam was turning Blue because she breathe and the piece of thick elastic fish would to come out. Kester grabbed her hugged her tight and pressed hard on her stomach and Chest until the piece finally came out. Pamy cried with Relief and turned her Normal color again. Williams Niernberg Germany. A a a a a a a a a Why Gulf plan succeeded we be heard and read volumes about the training technology tactics leadership and courage that accounted for the coalitions Success in the Gulf. We kept hearing that our conflict with Iraq would not be another Vietnam and indeed it Wasny to we paid dearly for the lessons Learned in Vietnam but learn we did How was our conduct of the War in Vietnam so drastically altered in the Gulf some examples a we correctly estimated the threat to world stability by calculating Long term consequences. A we marshalled the support of the world Community the american people and Congress. A we formulated objectives As a world Community and stated them clearly through . Resolutions. A we insisted on a rapid buildup and concentration of forces and relied on our military leadership to conduct the War. A we stated publicly the importance of minimizing coalition casualties. T a we provided for unit cohesion by insisting that soldiers live work and train together before going to War together \ a we maintained Strong coalition ties through continued dialogue during rapidly changing political conditions. A we provided Strong Community support to the soldiers families left behind. In Short we had a remarkable game plan which we executed magnificently. A it. Col. Carl f. Loovis Frankfurt German for family privacy i am writing in regard to All the whining and crying by our news Media a most specifically the complaints about the closing of Dover fab del., during the Transfer of the remains of the fallen warriors from operation desert storm. Personally i apply Ute the decision. At some Point in time the dignity of these heroes and to in families must be preserved it needs to Start at the Point where their remains Are repatriated. It also should follow right on through the burial ceremony. I have informed my wife that should something1 happen to me the burial ceremony should be private. No Media. A family a grief is a private thing. It does not need to be shared with millions of viewers or readers. The american civil liberties Union needs to take this Point into consideration before they go whining and crying to the courts about reopening Dover fab. A staff sgt. A Ray Harrison Crail sheim German clarification on article i am writing to you regarding the article by Randy Mcclain in the March 5 Issue of your newspaper. Some of the information in the article requires clarification or correction. The army Reserve is Well aware of the problems faced by reservists who work for foreign employers. This matter is being worked by on the appropriate offices. Because foreign governments Are involved the problems Are not susceptible to Quick or easy answers but ultimately. They will be resolved through department of defense and department of state channels. According to 7th army Reserve come a com records during the activation and deployment of Reserve forces from Usa eur to the Gulf theater of operations not one reservist was transferred from a deploying to non deployable unit with the exception of those classified non deployable by army regulations applicable to both Active and Reserve personnel. In fact 33 reservists voluntarily transferred into deploying units from non deploying ones. Any reservist who transferred from an Active Reserve unit to the individual ready Reserve Irr prior to deployment did so of his or her own Accord. This was a personal decision made by each reservist and As such it was respected by the 7 Harcom. I Hope this clears up any misconceptions that May have been caused by or. Mcclain a article. A Brig.
