For most people the final four is a big party. Everybody wants to have a Good time. Our attitude is that you can have a Good time after it s ail done. This is the time of year when the mental aspect of. The game becomes so important. You really have to stay mentally focused. After the Seton Hall game last saturday nobody was disappointed with the Victory but we did no to throw a party or anything. We always expected to be in this position a not necessarily to win it but to be in a position where we could win it. We done to really talk about winning a championship. You just look at the individual game and what is there that could present a problem or present an obstacle that you want to overcome. In this Case its the Atlantic coast conference. We Haven to played an acc team during this tournament. They put six seven teams in the tournament and everyone says How powerful the league is. We take that As an insult. So what we want to do is go out and try to prove to everybody that there Are teams in the West that can play basketball. Who has the Edge that de pends on the teams themselves. I think that if you re a mentally focused team you done to think about what happened in the past. No one is going to have an Edge. I think the Bottom line is that the better team is going to win. So we always feel As though we have something to prove when we take the court against those types of teams. When we get to Indianapolis Well pretty much keep to ourselves. Well stay in our rooms or Well hang out among ourselves on our boors and basically just keep it All in perspective. You have to realize that this is an environment where you go out to practice in front of 20,000 people. That a different. That a something not too Many people Ever do in their jives.
