Y the adjustments by month Are As follows for soldiers serving in Long tour areas soldiers originally scheduled to leave in december 1990 or earlier will leave in june 1991 those scheduled for january 1991 will leave in july 1991 february 1991, now August 1991 March 1991, now september .1991 april and May 1991 will now leave in october 1991 june and july 1991 will leave in november 1991 August 1991 will leave in december 1991 september and october 1991 will leave in january 1992 november and december 1991 will leave in february 1992 january and february 1992 will leave in March 1992 and March 1992 will leave in april 1992. Some april 1992 dates will be delayed until later in the month. Those scheduled to leave in May 1992 and beyond will leave on their original dates. The adjustments by month Are As follows for soldiers serving in Short tour areas soldiers originally scheduled to leave in March 1991 or earlier will leave in june 1991 april and May 1991 will leave in july 1991 june and july 1991 will leave in August 1991 and August 1991 Wilt leave in september 1991. Soldiers returning from the Gulf area will also be reassigned according to the adjusted schedules. Soldiers must also meet certain remaining time in service requirements to depart the european theater. Soldiers in Long tour areas accompanied or unaccompanied must have 13 months remaining time in service by their adjusted reassignment dates to leave the theater. Soldiers in Short tour areas that do not allow families must have seven months remaining in service by their adjusted dates to be reassigned out of the theater.
