Lets face it our jails Are not overcrowded with first time offenders who offer ignorance of the Laws As excuses for their actions. These people Are violent criminals murderers rapists armed robbers and in most cases they Are repeat offenders. Do we now charge the state with teaching our children that stealing and killing Are wrong to we really need to spend valuable class time on these Basic values that should be taught at Home on the family and Community level the government is not at fault for the breakdown and failure of the family unit in the United states. There also exist two Strong arguments against the states teaching Basic values to our children a first Many of our schools can barely teach Bur kids to write. Should they be trusted to teach something even More fundamental and important a second  we be leery of a government that is responsible for teaching and enforcing Basic Laws were there not Low crime rates in Stalin a soviet Union and the chinese showed us How a state can a teach Quot its students right from wrong. And several times a week 1 must Stop and think about the full paper bag we throw our waste paper into. Yet there Are numerous reasons Why we All need to do so a German garbage service has been reduced to every other week in Bur area or 50 percent of previous service. The dumpsters quickly overfill with rotting stinking unsightly garbage. Separating and recycling will eliminate this. A this country As Well As our own is quickly running out of Landfill space. Separation will reduce this. A cities and counties All Over the states Are passing recycling Laws. You will not be Able to ignore them forever. We Are All reasonably intelligent people. It is not difficult to adjust our habits and routines when we have such a logically important reason to do so. Such measures As using clearly tabled garbage cans with tight fitting lids and grocery bags to hold organic paper Glass and Metal trash the bags can be thrown in the bins also which you a have to do anyway will make it easy for even the Laziest among us. If walking a Block or two with a couple of bags of bottles and paper is too a a european for you just throw them in the trunk and Stop off at any Green bin you chose especially easy if one is too full. Our Only other alternative is the disgusting unsanitary conditions that we now complain about. The germans will not change their Law a it is we who must change.
