European Stars and Stripes (Newspaper) - September 5, 1991, Darmstadt, Hesse Page 14 Ann Landers the stars and stripes dear Ann Landers ten years ago my we and i separated after 25 Happy years of marriage. She found out i was having an affair with a Young employee and asked me to move out. My wife is a Beautiful and charming woman who gave me five terrific children. Everyone was hoping we would reconcile but because of pure Sel f fishnets i refused to end the affair with a Betty a even after my wife and children begged me to. Eventually that poor decision led to a painful divorce. My affair with Betty has been very convenient. She is self supporting and Hasni to Cost me anything. Betty Isnit very Good looking but she is a hard worker and is around whenever i ask her to be. Also since we Are not married i have never Felt that i had to be Loyal to her a and 1 Haven to been. I made it Clear to Betty that i did not want any More children and she assured me that she would take care of that. Well you guessed it. Betty is pregnant f am 63 years old and too darned ancient to Start with diapers and bottles. I also do not want to get married again. I done to mind supporting the child but i fee a lot of resentment against Betty for having tricked me. In a sure that she thought this would be a Way to get us married. What 1 really want Ann is my old family Back but in be been so Rotten that i Don t believe i have the right to ask for forgiveness. And then a part of me says i owe Betty something for All our years together. Also i believe 1 owe that unborn child my name. Dear Abby dear Abby my problem is the 40-year-old husband of my 30-year-old daughter he believes that because he is a a family he is entitled to come into my Home and help himself to anything he wants in my fridge or cupboards. He has done this for several years even after having been told by me that this is unacceptable. After complying for a while he went Back to helping himself to food and drink As though he were in his own Home. His manners Are atrocious. He does t wait to be offered a second helping a he takes what he wants sometimes ignoring the serving utensils and using his fingers. He weighs 260 and is a big eater. He complains if 1 done to have his favorite Beer suggesting that 1 buy it by the Case so i wont run out my daughter caters to him asking him in my Home if he wants More of anything. Because of the distance they have to travel to visit us they always spend the night. My husband and i always give them our bedroom. When we spent the night at their place we slept on a broken Down sofa that they brought in from the too shed. I know there is very Little you can do to help me thursday september 5, 1991 i never dreamed id be writing to Ann Landers. The Jerk in san Antonio dear Jerk i agree that you done to have the right to ask your family for forgiveness but ask them anyway. If you Are terribly Lucky your wife May take you Back. Meanwhile you Are obligated by Law to support Unur unborn child but that will be the least of it. You Are going to have to be a father to that Little one which will tie you to Betty forever whether you like it or not.
