Air Force improved to 2-0 Overall and 1-0 in conference play while Colorado state fell to 1-1 and 0-1. Perez a two touchdown passes were the Only passes he completed but he threw the Ball just seven times. Air Force rushed for 337 Yards against the Csc defense. Tailback Jason Jones led with 127 Rushing Yards on 29 carries. Csc opened the scoring on the first drive of the game. Senior quarterback Kevin Verdugo scored on a 6-Yard run his first career Rushing touchdown to put the rams up 7-0. Air Force came Back to tie the score when Perez scored on a 1-Yard to plunge with 3 51 left in the first Quarter to Cap a 12 play 75-Yard drive. The rams scored again Midway through the second Quarter on a 15-Yard to pass from Verdugo to Billy Gonzales. Csc led 14-7 at halftime.
