There were eight Lead changes among four Drivers. Mark Martin was the events top Lap Leader setting the Pace for 197 laps on three occasions. In the Battle for the series championship Leader Dale la Haidl gained �-6 Points on the second place risky Rudd. With three races remaining Earnhardt leads Rudd by 138 Points. 3.843 to 3,705.
