The conference designed to give students a thorough look at journalism was conducted at the Numberg youth Hostel next door to the City a Castle and overlooking the world famous Christmas Market. It Drew 220 students from More than 40 department of defense dependents schools across Germany. Forty advisers and 24 presenters also attended the four Day conference which began dec. 2. A Long list of experts ranging from journalism professors to newspaper and television personalities led students in discussions and hands on projects such As interviewing designing a newspaper editorial cartooning photography and the production of a television and a radio spot. The radio spot aired wednesday afternoon on an radio numbers. There were also sessions that focused on subjects such As sexism education and diversity. Lynne Gussenhoven conference coordinator said on Friday that the conference went a better than it Ever has and attributed the Success to the Large number of professionals from the various Media.
