The school located at Schwabish a mind Germany placed advertisements about the new undergraduate program in major International periodicals and some students already have applied said Joseph j. The program intended primarily for americans living in the United states who want to spend one to four years studying in Europe is administered by the schools University College. It is completely separate from the european division which serves . Troops and diplomatic personnel who already Are in Europe. The new Branch Campus is expected to serve up to 250 students. It will be located on the former Bismarck Cavern which housed the Headquarters of the army Snow defunct 56th Field arty come until last Spring. University College is developing the curriculum which will focus on contemporary european and German studies business and management with emphasis on International business computer studies and International relations. The new Branch May provide some Relief for Maryland teachers who would have lost their jobs because of dropping enrolment in the University a european division. The division once had a fairly constant annual enrolment of about 50,000 students the overwhelming majority of them part time. This year the total is expected to drop to about 42,000, Arden said. The University ended its classes in 11 communities where the military has withdrawn and it expects to discontinue classes in five More communities in 1992 for the same reason. The number of classes available in other communities also has dwindled significantly because troops left and individual military installations closed. The lesson started with the class Reading a Story called puppeteer. The class then decided to write their own puppet shows. Eleven year old Ronica Mccray and her groups show the Princess who loved a Prince was about a a Princess whose parents made her marry some poppy Prince who she did no to want to Many a Ronica said. She said they first did a Cluster map a so we knew who did what. It went pretty Well a she said. In Cluster groups members decided things like the name of the show and who was going to play what roles. After writing their plays the students created their puppets. Most groups also built their own puppet Heaters. Joey Szoke a 12-year-old whose group did a Christmas Carol said their group was Able to borrow a puppet theater from a neighbor. A fall we did was come up with the script a said Joey who has won several Young authors awards. Joey also has had three of his writings published in Sparks a Book of children a creative work published annually by Dodds Germany. A despite a lot of scene changes it was pretty Good a Joey said of their presentation. A we had a lot. Of fun doing it especially making the puppets.
