It is  an Issue of what is the government going to do but what Are we the people going to do. The basis of our economic system in the United states is the Middle class. But it is the Middle class that is dying out and becoming homeless. In part this has been caused by the loss of jobs traditionally held by the Middle class. Steel Mills and most other manufacturing jobs have been exported to other countries. Yet we have done nothing to establish work to replace that which is gone nor have the workers been re trained to function in the High tech service industries that now exist in the United states. In part this is due to the widespread practice of exporting any manufacturing or Assembly work outside the United states.
