Our daughter a Dee a was in High school. After her second year in College Dee decided to live with me instead of her Mother. When dec was 25, i married a malice a whom i had known for six years. Before the wedding plans. Dee and Alice got along Well but after we announced our engagement Dee became very cold to Alice. The following year when Dee married i was in no position to pay for the wedding and was not consulted about any of the plans. At her request i escorted Dee Down the aisle. Following the reception the master of ceremonies called for the Mother and father of the Bride to dance together As Well As the Bride and Groom. This was awkward for both me and Alice. Dee said it was an oversight that caught her by Surprise. Alice said it was a deliberate ploy to make her feel uncomfortable. Later Dee had group photos taken with her Mother s Side of the family. Dee asked me and my sister to be in a picture with her. She invited my sister s husband to be in the picture also but my wife was not included. Alice was very Hurt. When we arrived Home Alice said we should not allow Dee in our Home unless she apologizes. I agree that Dee was inconsiderate but i also believe the two of them could try a Little harder to get along for my Sake. Please comment. A Huntington n y. I d like to comment. The necessary arrangements had been completed with the help of a funeral director in 1979, and my husband passed away dec. 24, 1987, at the age of 80. His body was transported to Gainesville to the medical school where it was studied for 13 months. The director of the medical school called me in january of 1989 to say the study had been completed and the students had Learned a great Deal. My husband s remains were then cremated and the ashes strewn Over the Gulf of Mexico at Cedar key. I was amazed to learn that my husbands 80-year-old body had been such a valuable source of education for Young men and women in the Field of Medicine. I am proud that that dear Man who did so much Good during his lifetime also performed a valuable service after life left his body. 1 plan to do the same.
