During my recent experience in Dhahran saudi Arabia i was very pleased with the efforts that the army and Navy had made in this regard. Generally the support services that they sponsored morale welfare and recreation medical Legal financial services Etc were open to All irrespective of the individuals Parent service. I Only wish i had similar Praise for the air Force. In contrast several of the support services that they sponsored mar de medical and financial services were limited to air Force personnel Only. Regardless of the inconvenience involved non air Force personnel either had to go somewhere else or do without the needed service. Needless to say this Type of discrimination undermines the a a team concept and perpetuates continued interservice rivalry. Please air Force set aside your a a Pride and bigotry and join the team. The act of pointing a gun at another human with intent to kill is horrifying the most terrible thing i have Ever done. But i have no doubt that i would have followed through with my threat and neither did the gang doubt that i would shoot to kill to protect my children and myself that awful Day in Bangkok. After Reading the pros and cons of gun control i wonder How Many members of the National Rifle association have pointed a gun at another human with intent to kill. I wonder How Many people who Are not members of the Era As i am not have done so when necessary for their own and their children a survival. People have the right to protect themselves and their families no matter what fanatics on either Side think. I Hope a situation never again arises in my life where i am forced to  a gun at a person with intent to kill. The thought of killing a person even in my own defense is the stuff of nightmares horrible beyond belief. But i would and could do it before i would let any person or persons do harm to my family or myself. In october 1973, in Thailand when Law and order disappeared during a revolution gangs roamed Bangkok looting pillaging burning and killing.
