Heavy Snow also blanketed in Colorado a Rockies. A storm moving across upstate new York left 7 inches of Snow in Rochester and North Tonawanda North of Buffalo. Light rain in Northern new England was expected to turn to Snow As the storm moved Northeast toward the Atlantic. Parts of Northern new Hampshire were expected to get Anchorage 33/18 up to 10 inches of Snow. Flood watches remained in effect for most of Vermont and for Northern and Eastern Maine As Strong northwesterly winds accompanied the rain and Snow. Gale warnings were in effect along the coastal areas of Maine new Hampshire Massachusetts and Rhode Island As Well As from new York to Virginia. Syracuse n.y., received 2.2 inches of Snow pushing the season total to a record 162.2 inches. The previous record of 162.0 inches was set in the Winter of 1989-1990. A storm system moving out of the Southwest brought Snow to much of the Colorado Rockies. Information shown is the latest available for this edition snowfall totals included 14 inches at Val and 12 inches at Breckenridge. Showers associated with a Low pressure area moving out of the Southern Rockies produced heavy rain in Eastern Colorado. Several inches of rain deluged parts of the front Range and the northeastern Plains of Colorado. Showers developing ahead of a warm front were scattered from Iowa and Eastern Nebraska to Northeast Oklahoma. Showers and thunderstorms associated with the same warm front fell Over South Central and Eastern Texas. The Low for the lower 48 states was 1 degree at Negaunee Mich.
