Its also True that we have free schooling but our medical benefits Are by far not free. We pay a lot of Money every month to have health insurance. We also pay about 25 percent to 30 percent of our pay in taxes and another 30 percent or More for housing. So i think its fair to say that we deserve the Money that we re getting paid. In response to the second letter i would like to mention that i went to a vocational business College for two years and afterwards never could take up an apprenticeship Here in Germany because my husband was sent Back to the states. So american wives Are obviously not the Only ones who have to put their careers on hold. Employers on Post Are not required to speak German because of local National customers who do business there but because they have to Deal with the a outside world on a regular basis. If tomorrow there were no local National employees there would indeed be More jobs for americans but there would also be a lot of chaos and confusion. In the states employers hire a local nationals first because they stay and Don t move away after three years. Very often foreign wives get stuck with Low Quality jobs. Unfortunately when i go to the states i wont be Able to go to a German base where my own country people Are ready to offer me help and support in finding a Job. Recently a writer wrote that Blacks would not be Happy until they were made president or ruled the country. The racist or closet racist always seems to identify Blacks with affirmative action programs. I never see any articles in which women Are attacked for their use of and accomplishments stemming from affirmative action programs. Now the National organization for women the Champion of women a rights continues to be a Strong advocate of affirmative action. Sure a few minority women have benefited but by far it has been for White women. Whatever happened to other minority groups that were so involved in affair Grams Job Opportunity was not afforded to Blacks and minorities for 200 years. I am sure Many will not agree with what i am saying but at least White women were employed in jobs such As secretaries in Banks car sales savings and Loans Etc. Maybe they did not receive equal pay but at least they had jobs. Now lets look at the record.
