Lawrence Garrett Iii is seeking options to Deal with Navy and Marine corps officers who apparently a a stonewalled the services investigation of the sexual abuse of women at a Las vegas pilots convention. Garrett has asked the Navy a judge advocate general rear adm. John e. Gordon to review the services 2,000-Page investigation into the misconduct that occurred at the 1991 Tail Hook association convention. That investigation released last month found that Navy and Marine corps aviators had molested at least 26 women a half of them Navy officers a amid the revelry at the annual convention. After the incident became Public Garrett severed the Navy a relations with the Tail Hook association. In a memo to Gordon made available to the associated press by Pentagon sources Garrett said he expects the people identified in the investigation to be held accountable for their misconduct.
