Munich High school which has carved a reputation for staging outstanding tournaments in practically every Dodds offered sport Over the years put on its grand finale last thursday and Friday when the Central european track and Quot Field championships unfolded. The championships a highlighted by try France Chukes High jump record and Tracey Losius Protection of her record of never having lost an event in Central european Competition a were the seventh Munich has staged in track and Field at Dante stadium in the last 20 years. Conditions were Ideal for the Competition thursday and Friday but records were hard to come by this year. Nairn bergs Schukes who got into track and Field activity Only last year when he saw Taricka Smith Dodds record holding girls High jumper practising her specially and thought it looked like fun established the Only new Standard. He went 6-9v2, to erase by the scant margin of one fourth Inch the name of Frankfurt a Troy Gray from the record Book. Wyndham a record time is 2 17.6 Losi running virtually by herself in her qualifying heat clocked 2 18.3. Losius Best shot at the 800 record was in those thursday prelims because the 1,500 finals on Friday were scheduled earlier than the 800 finals and there were no 1,500 preliminaries thursday. Despite not quite achieving her goals Losi bowed out of Dodds Competition in Fine fashion running her 800-1,500-3,000 triumvirate record to 9-0. She prevailed As a freshman and Sophomore was sidelined by a basketball injury her Junior year and bounced Back to reclaim her Blue ribbons. Losi will be doing her collegiate running at Bowling Green Ohio state University. For their achievements Losi the meets Only triple Winner and Chukes earned recognition As outstanding athletes in the track and Field a last  Losi scored All of Bonne a 30 Points and was declared the outstanding girl runner in the meet. Chukes was declared the boys outstanding Field athlete of year nominations lag there will be a stars and stripes girl athlete of the year but will there be a boy selected this year with saturdays in the office deadline rapidly approaching the nomination of Only one girl has been received. Frankfurt a Doug Henderson first set his Long jump and triple jump there in 1973, going 22-11 and 47-6virespectively As a Junior. He raised those standards to the current Marks of 23-8 and 48-1 a in the 1974 qualifying meet before pulling a hamstring in the finals and losing out on an Opportunity to achieve greater distances. The next time Dodds elite tested the Dante stadium turf was 1979 a and two of the greatest runners Ever to compete in Dodds and the other names it had Over the years made their presence Felt.
