Often when 1 get a patient who has never had a Mammogram she is frightened because of the stories she a heard about the pain. Some women have tender breasts and there is no Way to make the exam totally pain free. A Good Mammogram should be mildly uncomfortable but not painful and it lasts Only a few seconds.
