Assailant sought pain medication witness reports los Angeles a a Man carrying three guns and demanding pain medication burst into an inner City emergency room and critically wounded three Doc tors in an attack that heightened fears about safety in big City hospitals. The gunman who told police he suffered from aids also held two women hostage monday at the los Angeles county University of Southern California medical Center. He freed them unharmed after several hours and surrendered. It apparently has to do with what he perceives to be poor Mcdial treatment it. John Dunk said.
