But it also put a charge into the Buffalo Bills who out played outhit and outscored 4he chiefs All night in a 30-7 trouncing. For Montana it was an average or below performance. For the Bills it was Only the second time in 12 years they scored 30 Points in an exhibition game. Montana played Only the first two pos sessions Ana hit 6 of 11 passes for 97 Yards including five straight. He did not throw an interception but was sacked once by Cornelius Bennett who blew past fullback Kimble Anders weak Block , it seemed an encouraging performance for Montana who was almost entirely Idle during his last two seasons at san Francisco.
