The probation restricts scheduling and television appearances for the Runnin rebels but does not ban the team from the Mcaa tournament Mcaa officials noting the time the violations occurred said they wanted penalties that had the least possible effect upon the present  the penalties were for violations that took place under coach Jerry Tarkanian.
