In his first extensive interview since his losing Battle against the North american free Trade agreement and his testy debate with vice president Al Gore Perot appeared still wounded by the Naftal experience. That performance Hurt him politically and raise questions about whether he can regain the kind of in fluence he wielded during the 1992 presidential Campaign and through much of last year. Perot said however that he will Convene the elected leadership of his United we stand America for a four Day meeting in Early february in Dallas to set priorities for the year and that he will devote All his time to that Agenda. Perot sharply criticized Clinton s health care plan calling it an air plane with no Wing that would Tell a Mother she cannot pick the doctor to deliver her baby and would Lead to rationing of care. The Texas businessman said he was sceptical that government has the capability to manage the health care system. Before comprehensive Reform is enacted he said several initial Steps should be taken. The administration should make projected saving sin medicare and medicaid and put the Money in the Bank before proceeding with the expansion of care envisioned by Clinton Perot added.
