The bigger problem was the Active Dallas defense that was aggressively try ing to Knock the Ball Loose. They were going for the Ball on every  Thomas left the game after his second Fumble but both he and coach Marv Levy said he was t benched. Both said Thom As had cramps in his calves that would t allow him to play
