In a series of letters to the paper Shelley Shannon provided details that suggest she was involved in sever Al arsons or knows who was. Her activities Are under investigation by the Fri and the Bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms. / this could go on for some time. Shannon 37, of Grants pass ore., was charged with attempted first degree murder in the aug. 19 shooting of George Tiller outside his clinic women s health care services. Tiller was slightly wounded in both arms and returned to work the next Day Shannon is being held in lieu of $1 million Bond awaiting a March 21 trial. In one Telephone interview Shannon said she decided in 1990 that violence against clinics was justified. In fact i think one baby s life is Worth More than All the buildings in the world she said. At the time Oregon authorities said Shelley Shannon was a prime suspect in an april 1992 arson at an Ashland ore., clinic. Federal authorities have kept quiet about their investigation much of which has focused on diaries and let ters found buried in Shannon s Back Yard in septem Ber. Krol 83, left Thomas Jefferson medical Center in a wheelchair. Minimalist artist Judd Dies new York Donald Judd one of the most influential minimalist artists of America s postwar period has died at the age of 65. Judd died saturday of Lymphoma at new York Hospital said his son Flavin. The sculptor and designer began to make his Mark in the Art world while still a philosophy student at new York s Columbia University in the 1950s. By the Early 1960s, he was a Well respected artist and Leader of the minimalist movement. By the end of that decade his cubic and rectangular works had helped redefine the direction of postwar sculpture. He is Best known As a sleek sculptor who thoughtfully used space scale and various materials to compose his works. He was also a Tough critic who was Well known for his outspoken reviews in arts  recently Judd had been designing a Fountain in Winterthur Switzerland and a new facade for a Railroad station in Basel Switzerland in addition to his son he is survived by his Mother Effie his daughter Rainer and his companion Marianne Stockebrand
