Don t give up help is on the Way. A new study conducted by Auburn University at Montgomery ala., on 50 air University Stu dents concluded that the United states air Force get under predicted fitness by 21 percent in one or two categories based on our self imposed Standard. Cycle testing can be an effective Way of measuring or More correctly predicting fitness. But not the Way Usan has changed it. To effectively administer the Cycle test you have to stress the subject at least moderately. The perceived exertion score on the get is around three or four out of 20 and on the Treadmill 18 or 19. The test should take 12 minutes or so and should conclude with the subjects heart rate at 10 to 20 per cent below maximum. We recently took a trip out of Pitburg air base and were the last to be dropped off. When i opened the Luggage compartment and did t find my bag the Driver could not help us.
