Well i guess 1 was really trusting with the military postal service in october i was preparing to leave for temporary duty in Turkey. The weather was warm at the Lime so i decided to mail two suitcases and a Box with my Winter sweaters and a sleeping bag. I put orders in each and a big computer printout of my return and temporary duty addresses. I did no to feel i had to insure them because they were going from one military base to the next a in late october i received one suitcase and one Box. I inquired at in Firtik Turkey and Pitburg a Germany and no Luck in finding the other suitcase my Friend works at the Pitburg Post office and said she actually put the suitcases on the truck. She stated that in a letter which went to the claims office. I was sent a letter from the claims office saying i could not receive anything because it was not insured a. A Quot. C1ianni.ng i wonder if judge Stephen Breyer has a Well developed sense of Justice or irony after All it was a year ago that he was lying in a Boston Hospital bed the victim of an automobile Accident i seem to remember he had been Riding a Bike when he was struck by a car when he got a Call summoning him to Washington ., to meet with the president. Breyer a Federal appeals court judge was going to be president Clinton a first nominee for the supreme court seat left vacant by retiring associate Justice Byron White. There was however a problem Breyer had not paid social Security taxes for a household worker in his family a employ. At the time it seemed hardly fitting for the president to Overlook this failure when similar problems had Cost two women nominees their Chance to become attorney general. So there Breyer was in a Washington hotel room still expecting to get the Job and preparing his acceptance speech when the president announced that his Choice was Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Bummer.
