Kocinski the 1990 Champion in the 250cc class returned to Soock racing this year after racing a season in the 250cc class started out in style capturing the australian grand prix and taking second in Malaysia. Since then he has been inconsistent and was hampered at Bockenheim by a bout with the flu and injuries from a crash on saturday. Schwantz meanwhile started the season off slowly but has come of Strong after winning the third event of the season in Japan. But the fastest and the most consistent rider this season has been the 29-year-old from Down under. Two years ago he was already on his Way to the Crown before an Accident put him out of Contention and still Healing he got off to a slow Start last year. But with the fastest Bike and a Good Honda team this should be his year. Meanwhile there has been no show of Solidarity among the americans to head off the aussie threat. Schwantz predicted after Kocinski s australian Victory that Quot John will break during the season like a cheap watch Quot while Kocinski commented tha Schwantz s 93 title was Quot presented to him on a plate after Rainey s . So with eight races left on the 14-race schedule the. Title is still up for grabs. But the Best bet is that it will be Australia s Quot Quick Mick Quot not an american who captures the Crown.
