If you  visit during the Peak tourist season from mid july to the end of August you could take advantage of a weekly bus service that goes from Bourton on the water directly to Stratford. During that time Pulham and sons motor coaches leave Bourton on wednesdays at 9 45 ., arriving in Stratford at 10 35  A one Way ticket costs about $2.50 and a round trip ticket is about $4.50. For the rest of the year the Only Way to reach Stratford by bus is to travel to Cheltenham and change to another bus there for Stratford.
