The Mainz Christmas Market gets people into a festive spirit with its wares and nativity scene with life size carved wooden figures during Advent. And there s Johannis nacht in Honor of Gutenberg held in june Over a weekend. The Gutenberg museum has printing presses from throughout the Ages above. The museum also contains Gutenberg bibles far left. This statue left commemorates the pre lenten Celebration of  a Gold horse prances above the Portal of the  left.
