It s called the eng Tischer Garten English Garden. The Garden is actually an enormous Park bordering Munich s sch Abing District. Built on what was once Marshland the Park is a Serene place where people Nap play soccer or Row boats on the Eisbach that runs through it. The three mile Long Park is the largest City Park in Germany and a perfect place to let children run off steam. It was created for a bavarian Prince by an englishman escaping the american revolutionary War and originally served As a nature Refuge. It still has its English flavor however. In fact the Munich Cricket club still . Tourists can eyeball the nudes lying along Creek Banks. German business people spend their lunch hours lying on the grass and feeling the Cool Breeze through the Trees. The Southern part is Ideal for running playing football napping and tossing flying disks with local students. The English Garden a perfect place to relax or recreate is one of Munich s Best features.
