The tigers will take to Fields an courts this weekend for the first time in the school s three week old history. The school was created after Niernberg schools closed permanently in june. The decision was made in november 1994 to convert a vacated elementary school into a school for 235 students in seventh-12th grades. Conversion started in april and the school opened its doors to students aug. 28. About 115 students make up grades nine-12.
