7 letter unchecked bullying thrives As a Parent and a teacher i care about the schools our children attend there is no place for bullying in our schools the concern i have is that the letter took on the tone of a personal attack the writer gave the impression that the principal was tile cause of bullying at both schools the writer basically states that put of All of the schools on Yokota bullying Only occurs at Yokota Middle school the writer then implies the same for Seoul american elementary school in South Korea that a pretty Strong accusation the thing mat most disturbs me is the personalization of the attack first the problem of bullying was placed solely on the principal second the writer assumed the principal was socially promoted to the Middle school from the elementary school believe it or not principals usually Transfer on their own terms and Are not just shuffled third i am bothered that stars and stripes would allow personal at tacks to be printed As a Parent i want the Best for my Chil Dren As a teacher i want the Best for and from my students i have the utmost re Spect for teachers teaching is one of the most difficult jobs in the world teachers must be everything to everyone administrators Are the educational Lead ers who must make decisions based on input from the parents teachers and Stu dents parents should remember that Deci Sions Are made in the Best interest of the student they May not always be Correct administrators Are human too the major who wrote this letter should realize that department of defense dependents schools also has a Chain of command that begins with the teacher and ends at the Pacific directors office i always thought problems can and should be solved without going Public sometimes we forget in our outrage that the other person has feelings too the per son being attacked is a husband and a father it is not fair to attack someone in the Public Arena like this there is no Way to defend oneself from attacks like this after a letter like this the damage is done this tells wheat Yoap Tot editorials and columns that Are published in the newspaper and Valaes letters on topics of Irh por in june Yves of our
