He has been twice wounded inaction during his Darmstadt tour once when he invaded a neighbouring Yard with an Eye to pitching woo with one of the local Belles and another time in the Field when he dulled unsuccessfully with a Section of concertina barbed wire. Army reserves at his new Post sergeant major Botcher has become a familiar visitor to the numerous artillery groups and battalions of v corps artillery and he know almost All of the men if not by name at least by smell. Prior to starting his european tour sergeant major Botcher performed duty with the  reserves based in mls Soula Mont. While with those units he regularly paid visits to Washington California and Utah to participate in summer train ing activities.
