Atkins said former Commerce Secretary Maurice h. Stans telephoned him in Early 1972 and asked for a $100,000 contribution to the Nixon Campaign and a $10,000 advertisement in a Republican brochure. The House Bill would make the 7 per cent jump effective in March 1974 and the remaining 4 per cent effective in june. Once both bodies act the differences will be reconciled by a House Senate commit tee.
